The cost for the 1 day Whataroa heli rafting is $450 per person, all inclusive including photo`s and video clips. A good place to camp is right at the take out or if you need facilities Okarito is only 20 minutes drive and is right on the beach (clams in the lagoon as well) it has a great little campground that is not busy. Another cheaper option is the walk in. Same trip minus the heli flight and you walk in and camp the day before. Cost is $350 per person for this option.
